Portland's most desirable area
Portland's most desirable area
Mississippi Avenue Lofts bridges Portland’s past with present Urban Living. Balance work, play, and relaxation while living on one of the most desirable streets in Portland, Mississippi Avenue.
Portland’s Mississippi Avenue has become nationally recognized as the example of Portland’s unique quirky spirit. Featuring 6 long city blocks that are densley packed with bars, restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues Mississippi is one of the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city.
The building was thoughtfully designed with two parallel wings that allow all of the residents to enjoy views from multiple balconies overlooking both the neighborhood, and the peaceful interior courtyard. In addition to the concrete accent walls the units feature sustainable cork flooring, top-grade wool carpets, and front load washers & dryers. Highlights of the extensive built-ins include the spectacular tongue-and-groove wood ceilings made of farm raised heavy-timber inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s industrial history.
Residents and visitors to Mississippi Avenue have no shortage of dining options. There are over 40 choices for exquisite dining within 5 blocks of the building, including Quaintrelle, and award-winning Pacific Northwest farm to table restaurant, the 1905, and Gravy, a Portland brunch favorite among many others.
The street is home to several food cart pods and trucks sprinkled throughout the strip including the nationally famous Mississippi Marketplace, Portland original food cart pod, conveniently located directly across the street from Mississippi Avenue Lofts.
Your Commute
Mississippi Avenue is conveniently located close to many of Porland’s prominent employment districts and is a simple 10-minute commute to the Downtown Central Business District, 8 Minutes to the Pearl District, and the Central Eastside is a mere 2.3 miles away. Additionally The neighborhood is served by the Max Yellow Line light-rail, which is a short walk from the building entrance. The Yellow Line provides direct service to Downtown, Portland State university and connects to Beaverton, Hillsboro, Milwaukie, Clackamas & Gresham.
Cycling for many in Portland is a way of life and a completely viable method of transportation. If you choose to bicycle you can take advantage of the neighborhoods multiple bikeways. Michigan Street, one block west, offers a protected bike corridor that feeds the Broadway Bridge to the Pearl District, Downtown, and the Eastbank Esplanade along the scenic Willamette River.
